Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival to Negombo / Welcome dinner listing to waves of the ocean.
Transfer from Colombo International Airport to Negombo. Our representative will warmly welcome you. Transfer to your hotel in Negombo, a beautiful coastal town to the north of Colombo, with the rest of the day free in this charming town famed for its water ways. Negombo is a multicultural and multi denominational city; and there are dozens of historic pastel-colored churches throughout the centre.
Our welcome dinner will be set against the back drop of the Indian Ocean. We will get to savoir authentic Sri Lankan sea food dishes.

Day 2 | Wilpattu National Park safari
After breakfast visit the fishing market in Negombo where the center of fishermen gathers with their crop for market and it is very active in the morning. After then on transfer to Wilpattu National Park, known as the land of the lakes. These water bodies are of natural depressions as Sri Lanka does not possess natural lakes. The water bodies are fed with ground water and some still retain its salinity. Wilpattu is home to all the large and small forest denizens found in the dry zone of Sri Lanka.

Wilpattu area as a whole bears testimony to ancient civilization with many ancient ruins found inside the forest, and many have been clothed in forest for many centuries. The park happens to be the site of the largest conservation project on the Sri Lankan sloth bear. In the evening, go on a safari to see the epic and the most renowned feature of Wilpattu, the white sand; and many photographers and travellers hope to snap up the Sri Lanka leopard laying on the sand whilst at Wilpattu. That evening, relax by the camp fire for a barbecue dinner; relax to the sounds of Mother Nature while chatting about the history of Wilpattu.

Day 3 | Wilpattu National Park / Anuradhapura ancient city by bicycle
Welcome to the Wilpattu National Park in the dawn! The Wilderness getting more active with the sunrise and birds are busy for their forage. Heard of spotted deer are common in the park this time of the day. Spend few hours in morning time for leopards and sloth bears.
Your breakfast awaiting at the campsite. After having shower leave for Anuradhapura the first kingdom of Sri Lanka. Select your cycle and get ready for the ride through the ancient city. You will enter to the site from the town area and will be passing paddy fields and man made reservoirs. You will reach the place where the bodhi tree (authenticated tree a branch tree under which the Buddha was enlightened) is planted, this place considered as one of the supreme sacred places in Anuradhapura. The riding will be moderate with the direct hit of the sunlight, but wind and the shady tar mac roads will make you comfortable somewhat. You will taste a king coconut drink and it will calm you down. Site will include a few of pagodas, ancient remains and local village.
Return to the hotel for your night stay
Dinner will be in a large tree-filled garden, reflecting the serenity of the Great Ancient Stupas

Day 4 | Hiriwaduna Village trek – Minneriya National Park
In the morning, after savoring a delicious breakfast, travel to Hiriwaduna Village and start village walk in Hiriwaduna. historic man made reservoir and cross the water aboard a villager’s catamaran. We’ll tour the village by foot and enjoy local food served by the villagers.
In the afternoon, we leave for Minneriya National Park and enjoy an exhilarating safari. Unlike other national parks, elephants are easily spotted at very close range. About 160 species of birds, 9 amphibians, 25 reptile species, 26 fish species and more than 78 butterfly species have also been found in this area. After the safari in NP return to your home which is a second nature resort.

Day 5 | Minneriya National Park / Kaudulla National Park
Early monring embark on the jeep and commence the jeep safari. Minneriya National park is not only the place where you can heard of Elephants it is a remarkable place to spot many native birds and some of endemic mammals such as purple faced-langar, Sri Lankan Sambar deer, gray slender loris. You can enjoy your box breakfast inside the park, spend few hrs to spot a few of creatures and return to hotel for a shower break and for lunch.
Afternoon start second safari in Kaudulla National Park. Twenty four species of mammals in Sri Lanka have been reported from this park.. The most important of them is the wild elephant the population of which is about 200. Twenty six species of fish are found in the reservoir, In this park 435 species of birds reported to be them endemic birds to Sri Lanka.The newly declared Kaudulla National Park is a ideal place if you love photographs.

Day 6 | Gal Oya National Park / Swimming elephants
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast leave for Gal Oya National Park, The National Park is very famous for its unique scenery of swimming
elephants. En route enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
On arrival start the boat ride Gal Oya National Park allows the visitors to enjoy its beauty and wild life by Boat safari as well as by Jeep safaris. Boat safari affords the opportunity to land in an island within the reservoir called “Bird Island” swarming with birds. Best time to visit Gal Oya National Park is from March to July. During this period, the boat safaris bring the spectacle of herds of elephants swimming from one island to another island in the great Senanayaka Samaudra reservoir.

Day 7 | Morning Boat safari / Afternoon Jeep Safari in Nilgala
Leave for national park with boxed breakfast and lunch, start boat safari in National park, morning time is ideal to observe bird life in the park, bird island situated middle of the reservoir gives a remarkable place for number of birds, don’t forget to keep your camera ready for stunning snaps.
Enjoy your breakfast on board, return to the park entrance after boat safari.

Leave for Nilgala entrance of Galoya National Park and start jeep safari in the park, safari from Nilgala is ideal for bird lovers and butterfly lovers since he area has become a paradise for native avifauna life. An amazing place you could visit during the safari is Makara place, where the point from which an underground river starts. The vegetation type dominate the area is mainly savanna.
Enjoy your lunch during the safari.

Day 8 | Yala
Breakfast at hotel.
No hurry, take your time. You can enjoy morning time walking around the hotel premises and the village, start travelling to Yala National Park via Monaragala.

Day 9 | Yala full day safari
Early morning with packed breakfast leave for the National Park. Yala is located in the Southeast of Sri Lanka is world famous as one of the best destinations in the world to spot Leopards. It is said that Yala has the highest density of leopard per square kilometer. The park as a whole has a rich history that dates back many millennia, with many archaeological remains now clothed in thick foliage.
You can enjoy your breakfast at the beach inside the national park.
Spend the afternoon in the park observing the wild creatures.

Day 10 | Galle / Colombo
Breakfast at hotel
Lave for Colombo after filing breakfast, we can visit Ahangama to witness the aged old art of stilt fishing, the famous stilt fisherman who perch themselves on the cross bar of a single pole buried deep into the seabed. These fishermen, the poorest of the poor, spend hours with their lines cast out to catch even the smallest of fish. Proceed to Galle and start the excursion in Galle city. Galle is located in the south-western part of Sri Lanka and is an important city in the region. The city remains the best example of a fortified city built by the Portuguese during their period in the country. The Galle Fort, today, is a world heritage site and the most important landmark in the city. The Dutch Museum and the Dutch Church are two other significant attractions. Galle has also made a name for itself for its intricate lace and ebony carvings.
On completion leave for Colombo.
On arrival commence city tour in the city of Colombo. This bustling multicultural city has grown at breakneck since Sri Lankan independence and historic buildings can be found in the shadow of modern skyscrapers. A city tour takes in the most interesting monuments and attractions, including the iconic Khan Clock Tower and British-era colonial buildings such as the old parliament.
Explore the vibrant Petttah bazaar and admire Hindu and Buddhist temples such as the Gangarama and Sri Kailawasanathan Swami
Devasthanam Kovil, and some of the city’s prime residential areas such as Cinnamon Gardens, where you find prestigious addresses such as the Prime Minister's Office, Independence Memorial Hall, Colombo City Hall and the National Museum.
Farewell dinner will be at the Nugagama restaurant where the authentic sri Lankan cousin available in Colombo.
